About us

Chilenut is the grower and exporter association of Chilean walnuts. It was founded in 2002 and has members that spread from the IV to the IX region. The association also has tree nursery and suppliers bound to the Walnut industry.



Our mission is to assure the sustainable development of the Chilean Walnut Industry, representing our associate growers and export companies at government, industry and international levels, being an effective motor for opening of new markets and developing consumption, delivering intime and updated information necessary for this development and promoting the best practices related to quality and food safety of our product.



In the realization of our objectives, we act according to the following principles:

d) The search for industry well being before group or individual interests.

To be a solid organization that represents an important part of the industry, that is the benchmark nationally and internationally and that our seal becomes a guarantee of prestige and quality of the Chilean walnut. We will reach our vision by strengthening good practices in processing, promoting technical abilities in those who produce and export Chilean Walnuts, gathring knowledge and and inducing the maximum technicl and commercial development in our industry.
